Child Safety Policy

Up-4ever has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits or endangers a minor. This policy explains our stance, how we detect and act on such content, and how to report it.

Zero tolerance Reported to NCMEC & authorities

Up-4ever is a public file-storage service used by people all over the world. We hold an absolute, zero-tolerance position on any material that depicts, sexualises, or otherwise endangers a child. Such content is forbidden by our Terms of Service, by every law that applies to us, and by a line we will never cross. There is nothing to debate here — this page simply explains what we do and how you can reach us.

Report content that harms a child

Send us the URL(s) you are reporting and anything else that helps. Every message is treated as urgent and acted on the same day. You do not need to give your name — anonymous reports are welcome and handled exactly the same way.

1

Our commitment

Protecting children is non-negotiable. Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor is forbidden on Up-4ever without exception — regardless of format, framing, or stated intent. We act on every credible report and detection immediately, and we keep refining our processes so that Up-4ever stays a service that children, families, and law enforcement can trust.

2

What “zero tolerance” means in practice

The moment we learn that Up-4ever has been used to store or transmit content that harms a child, we act — immediately, without exception, and with the seriousness this kind of report demands.

  • Remove the content

The file is taken down on detection or report — before any further review, so it is offline at once.

  • Terminate the accounts

Every account that uploaded, distributed, or knowingly hosted the file is disabled permanently.

  • Preserve evidence & notify authorities

We preserve the relevant data and hand it to law enforcement and recognised child-safety hotlines under their established intake processes.

  • Block re-uploads

Known abusive material is hashed and matched against our storage layer, so a second upload of the same file is rejected at the door.

  • Cooperate with prosecutions

We assist law enforcement and government bodies in any investigation arising from a report — up to and including the prosecution of those responsible.

3

What is prohibited & how we detect it

The following is forbidden on Up-4ever without exception, in any format, framing, or stated intent:

Child sexual abuse material. Any image, video, audio, text, or file that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Grooming & solicitation. Using the service to contact, groom, or solicit a minor for exploitation, or to coordinate such activity.
Links & references. Sharing links, references, or instructions that lead to CSAM hosted anywhere, on or off Up-4ever.

We use proactive scanning and hash-matching against known CSAM databases, alongside human review of reports. Matching or reported content is removed or disabled immediately on detection, the responsible account is terminated, and relevant data is preserved for the authorities. We file a report with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other applicable bodies.

4

Reporting & what happens next

Anyone can report suspected child-exploitation content by emailing our safety team at [email protected]. Provide the file URL and any context you can. Reports are confidential, prioritised above all other queues, and you do not need an account to submit one. Every message follows the same path — the first stages run the moment your e-mail lands.

1 Within minutes

Triage

Your report is routed straight to our Trust & Safety team and acknowledged. We never require your real name — anonymous reports are processed the same way.

2 Same day

Take down

The reported file is removed and made inaccessible from every public surface of Up-4ever. The account that uploaded it is suspended pending the next stage.

3 Hours to days

Investigation & evidence preservation

We review the account’s history, preserve relevant data under our retention policy, and find any further content from the same source that needs removing.

4 Outcome

Termination & reporting onward

If the report is substantiated, the account is permanently terminated, the file’s hash is added to our re-upload block list, and we share what we are required to share with NCMEC and the appropriate authorities under their established intake processes.

5

Cooperation with authorities

We cooperate fully with law enforcement and child-protection organisations worldwide. We preserve evidence, respond to lawful requests, and proactively report offences. There is no appeal or counter-notice process for content removed under this policy.

Protecting children is not optional, not negotiable, and never a checkbox. We invest in detection, work with industry partners, and keep refining our processes so that Up-4ever stays a service that children, families, and law enforcement can trust. If you believe we can do better, write to us at [email protected].
